On-line Registration is expected to open in early March.  Facebook and email announcements regarding conference registration and Balloon Celebration requests will be sent soon.  Adult registration (age 12+) is $135; children aged 5 – 11 are $85.  Children under 5 years old and SOFT children are free.  The Picnic-only registration costs will be added soon.

The SOFT Check-in Room location will be announced when it becomes known.  Please check in as soon as you arrive so you can receive your conference bag which contains essential conference information and much more.

Friday afternoon Clinics will be held at Omaha’s Children’s Hospital & Medical Center, 8200 Dodge St., Omaha, phone 402-955-5400.  At present, the following clinics have been confirmed by CHMC:  Cardiology, Pulmonary, Neuro, Ortho, Ophthalmology, Physical Medicine & Rehab, Palliative Care, Genetics, Dietary, PT, OT, GI and Audiology.  We are waiting to hear about a possible ENT clinic.   Click here to review the Conference Schedule, which includes bus loading times.

The Welcome Dinner will be held Thursday night and the Keynote Speaker will be SOFT’s own Lizzie Bona!  The dinner will include entertainment, the Erin Jorgenson scholarship award, the “SOFT Friends” video and much more!

The annual SOFT Remembrance Outing  will be held at Camp Brewster (1313 Bellevue Blvd North, Bellevue NE 68005), located within Fontanelle Forest on Friday afternoon – see schedule for times.

Omaha’s famed Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium will be the focus of the Children’s Activities on Thursday – see the schedule for times and pick-up location.  The cost for children aged 12+ is $35 and for 5-11 the cost is $30.  The outing includes transportation, a T-shirt and lunch as well as admission to the Zoo activities.

A Memory Room will be provided; please bring photo albums or other memorabilia to display!  The room’s location will be provided in the conference materials received upon check-in.

Child care will be provided on Wednesday for Board Members only.  On Thursday, child care will be provided from 8:45 am to 4:30 pm.  On Friday it will be provided from 12:00 to 5:00pm for children 4 years old and under.  Children older than 4 can go to the Sibling Event held by the Grief’s Journey organization while parents are away.
