The SOFT Annual Conference is the largest gathering of families and medical professionals dedicated to Trisomy 18, Trisomy 13, Trisomy 9, and related disorders. Families come together to learn, connect, grieve, celebrate, and find the community they never knew they needed.
The 2026 conference marks our 40th milestone year, held in beautiful Loveland, Colorado. Expect world-class medical sessions, joyful family activities, sibling outings, and rich programming for every family at every stage of their trisomy journey.

Meet & Greet Ice Cream Social
Kick off conference week with our beloved ice cream social and new family welcome. A relaxed and joyful way to meet other SOFT families before the full program begins — especially welcoming for first-time attendees.
Welcome Dinner & Parade of Stars and Angels
A buffet dinner and joyful celebration featuring the Parade of Stars and Angels honoring every SOFT family in attendance, the SOFT Friends video, DJ, music, dancing, and time to connect with families old and new.
Angel Remembrance Outing
A dedicated gathering for families who carry their child in their heart. Angel families come together for a shared lunch on site, connecting with others who truly understand the journey in a warm and peaceful setting.
Angel Memory Room
A treasured space where families can display photo albums and memorabilia in honor of their child. A beautiful way for the SOFT community to celebrate and remember each angel together.
Annual Memorial Celebration
The annual Memorial Celebration honors all registered SOFT Angels and is held at the Saturday Picnic. Families who cannot attend in person are still welcome to register their angel as a non-attending participant.
Auction Night
Silent and live auction featuring donated items from local businesses and SOFT community members worldwide. A fun evening that raises vital funds to help families attend conference.

Sibling Outings
Siblings get two full afternoons built just for them — lunch included both days. This year they are heading to Loveland Laser Tag on Thursday and Main Event in Windsor on Friday. Two days, two adventures, and the chance to hang out with other kids who totally get it.
General Sessions & Workshops
Some of the most respected voices in trisomy medicine show up for these sessions. Members of SOFT's Medical and Science Committee bring together specialists in genetics, neonatology, cardiology, palliative care, and more — delivering real, up-to-date knowledge you will not find anywhere else. Whether you are newly diagnosed or years into this journey, these sessions will leave you more informed and more confident.
Medical Clinics
One of the most unique things about the SOFT Conference is the chance to be in the same room as physicians who genuinely know trisomy. Families with SOFT children can sit down and have real conversations with visiting medical professionals — an open, relaxed exchange that is rare to find anywhere else. Come with questions. Leave with perspective.

One of the most anticipated moments of the Welcome Dinner — a celebration of our community told through the faces of the families who make SOFT what it is.

Annual Picnic at Willow Bend Park
One of conference's most beloved traditions. Families gather at the fully accessible Willow Bend Park for a relaxed afternoon of food, laughter, and connection. The Annual Memorial Celebration is also held here.

Conference FAQ
How much does conference cost?
Adults (12 and up) are $159. Children ages 5 to 11 are $119. SOFT children with trisomy attend free. Financial assistance is available through the Just Wish Grant.
Where is the 2026 conference?
Embassy Suites in Loveland, Colorado. 4705 Clydesdale Parkway, Loveland CO 80538. July 15 through 19, 2026.
Can I register my angel if I cannot attend?
Yes. Families not attending can still register their SOFT Angel for the Memorial Celebration by completing the Conference Registration form as a non-attending participant.
Does booking the hotel register me for conference?
No. Hotel and conference registration are completely separate. You must complete both steps to be registered for all events.
What is the Just Wish Grant?
A scholarship program that helps qualifying families cover conference registration fees and possible hotel costs. Apply before May 25, 2026.
When is the registration deadline?
Conference registration closes June 1, 2026. The Just Wish Grant application deadline is May 25, 2026. Register early to secure your spot.
The Just Wish Grant
No family should miss conference because of cost. The Just Wish Grant helps qualifying families with conference registration fees and possible hotel expenses. Apply today so no one has to navigate the trisomy journey alone.
