Trisomy Awareness Month
To support your Trisomy Awareness efforts SOFT has created some fun and impactful awareness products for you to share with your medical professionals and in your local community.
ABOUT TAM
The SOFT community proudly recognizes March as Trisomy Awareness Month (TAM). As the third month of the year, March serves as a time to increase awareness and education about Trisomy conditions, celebrate children who continue to thrive, and honor the lives of those who have passed away.
Trisomy Awareness Month extends beyond medical information. While education remains central to our mission, TAM also acknowledges the deep connections families share with their children and the diverse experiences that shape our community.
This year’s theme, “Because Love,” reflects the foundation of our work.
Because love motivates advocacy.
Because love guides compassionate care.
Because love strengthens community.
Because love we remember our Angels.
Throughout the month, we encourage families to raise awareness within their communities by sharing accurate information with medical professionals, educators, and local networks to help ensure that children with Trisomy conditions are recognized not simply by a diagnosis, but as individuals who are valued, respected, and deeply loved.

Note: Throughout the month, we will release condition-specific Medical Expert Panels for Trisomy 9, Trisomy 13, and Trisomy 18. These panels are professionally pre-recorded and will be published on their respective dates. The Trisomy 9 panel has already been recorded, with Trisomy 13 and 18 to follow. Each brings together experienced clinicians to provide evidence-informed insight and current medical perspectives tailored to each condition. Families are invited to submit questions for consideration in the upcoming panels using the links below.
