What is something unique and special about your child with trisomy that you wish more people knew?

Reggie has been our sunshine for so many years. He’s Amazing
God has blessed us.
He got diagnosed the day he was born March 11,1992
He will be 33 years old
They said he would live a year to two years
He wouldn’t be able to lift his head or be able to sit
Basically they said he wouldn’t be able to do anything
He loves life,Music and likes it when he is being talked too
He loves to shake his ball to music and keeps the beat too.
Loves hanging out with mom everyday
He is such a Strong Warrior
He gets thru every illness and health situations way better than his mama does who sits by his side and fights for him

Why do you believe raising awareness about trisomy conditions is important, and how can others make a difference?

Because there are a lot of medical information thats not true and mis leading
We need to be there voices and fight for there right to live and get treatments
Share everything about our experiences with medical issues for them and for future families that have to go thru the same things and know what questions to ask
