What is something unique and special about your child with trisomy that you wish more people knew?

Zara loves music, every time she hears music she will wiggle her head with a matching bright smile. She also love road trips, she’s so happy everytime we have one, she like to see a lot of scenery even in television only if she sees a car moving with nice view she would really stop everything she is doing and watch with full attention.

Why do you believe raising awareness about trisomy conditions is important, and how can others make a difference?

It is very important for others to learn and understand about the rare condition , in that way they will be more empathetic and understanding towards those who are having it. Maybe if they will have deep understanding about trisomy they would accept them just like a normal individual.

During Trisomy Awareness Month, what message would you like to share with the world about your family’s journey and the trisomy community?

Having Zara in our lives really made a big difference, the ups and downs with her are very challenging but she made us stronger everyday. She’s made special by our Dear God for us to nurture and love.

Make those challenges a positive one so that every journey with our child with trisomy would always be memorable and happy experience.
