What is something unique and special about your child with trisomy that you wish more people knew?

Ava got to work with UCF PT students so they could learn how to help support a baby/toddler with low muscle tone as they built her switch adapted car!

Why do you believe raising awareness about trisomy conditions is important, and how can others make a difference?

Doctors need to know that there are so many children out here living with a trisomy diagnosis! And for families to have hope that the diagnosis doesn’t automatically mean a death sentence. By sharing our stories of our children we can get the world to understand our kiddos are worthy and beloved family members ❤️

During Trisomy Awareness Month, what message would you like to share with the world about your family’s journey and the trisomy community?

No matter how long or short the life of your trisomy child is they are worthy of being celebrated. We have made forever friends in the trisomy community and we will forever cheer on their children even though our girl is not with us any longer.
