What is something unique and special about your child with trisomy that you wish more people knew?

He’s Friendly and lovely child. He enjoys that his siblings read books for him. But the most especially is your eye contact when he needs some help. He’s so smart.

Why do you believe raising awareness about trisomy conditions is important, and how can others make a difference?

It is very important to raise awareness about trisomy since the information that medical books and some doctors have are very limited. Sharing what these children really are changes the way of thinking of many people.

During Trisomy Awareness Month, what message would you like to share with the world about your family’s journey and the trisomy community?

Keeping advocating for our children is the best gift we can give them. As a parent, we are the ones who best know the limitations of our children and that makes us their maximum help. Trisomy children can give more than the books describe and it is already a proven fact that THEY ARE COMPATIBLE WITH LIFE.💙
