February 2026 Donations: Honoring Lives and Supporting Trisomy Families | SOFT

At SOFT, every donation carries a story.

Some are given in celebration—marking birthdays, milestones, and the joy children with trisomy bring to their families. Others are given in remembrance—honoring lives that, though often brief, leave a lasting impact. Many are given in quiet solidarity, grounded in the belief that no family should face a trisomy diagnosis alone.

Together, these contributions form more than financial support—they create a continuum of care. This continuum connects newly diagnosed families with experienced parents, supports informed and compassionate decision-making, and sustains a community grounded in both lived experience and evidence-informed practice.

Peer-to-peer support is central to this model, improving parental well-being, reducing isolation, and increasing confidence in complex medical environments. Through your generosity, SOFT continues to strengthen this approach—ensuring families receive not only information, but understanding.

February’s donations reflect this full spectrum of care: from immediate support through care packages, to meaningful connection through our annual conference, to the enduring act of honoring a child’s life by supporting another family.

We are honored to recognize each of the individuals and families who contributed this month.
