What is something unique and special about your child with trisomy that you wish more people knew?
Sajjona loves to keep moving! She loves going on adventures and has been on top of cannon mountain in NH. She does not like to be stationary. She loves Art, classical music, jumping in a jumper. She has a big family who adores her! Having a child either a “disability” just means you learn to do things differently. She has taught us so much about true love, having more faith in God and never giving up!
Why do you believe raising awareness about trisomy conditions is important, and how can others make a difference?
We spread awareness to help others realize that many of these children can do things even if it is done at their own pace and time. Love is not measured by someone’s challenges.
During Trisomy Awareness Month, what message would you like to share with the world about your family’s journey and the trisomy community?
We have cried, laughed and prayed. Through it all the journey has been worth it for advocating for the life meant worth living for Sajjona!
