What is something unique and special about your child with trisomy that you wish more people knew?

He has the best sense of humour but is also very strong willed and never gives up

Why do you believe raising awareness about trisomy conditions is important, and how can others make a difference?

It is very important to make people aware of all trisomies and this can effect individuals differently, not all people are the same and everyone should learn to ask questions about the individual rather then just the diagnoses

During Trisomy Awareness Month, what message would you like to share with the world about your family’s journey and the trisomy community?

Our journey has felt long 19 years, but it is relatively short in perspective of things but it’s felt long and it’s like we are on the longest roller coaster ride with tons of ups and downs and twists and turns and this ride can go backwards at times , but in saying that i also feel blessed to have Michael in our lives and he teaches people humility without even speaking a word.
