What is something unique and special about your child with trisomy that you wish more people knew?

As a nurse and a mother to my first born.. Trisomy 18 it’s a chromosomal abnormalities and it’s not curable.. this is not the fault of both parents.. baby with trisomy 18 should be love and take good care off… they deserve all the love in the world..

Why do you believe raising awareness about trisomy conditions is important, and how can others make a difference?

Some people or mostly a lot of people specially to those who are in rural area don’t have any knowledge about trisomy 18 specially here in the Philippines because they don’t have access to health care.. they are not aware about the chromosomal abnormalities.. it’s important to spread awareness about this kind of chromosomal abnormalities.. so that they are well informed about the said conditions.

During Trisomy Awareness Month, what message would you like to share with the world about your family’s journey and the trisomy community?

It’s very difficult to have a child with trisomy 18 specially our pain and emotions, financial aspects and the pain that your child cannot be cured by any medications.. but we know that God did not gave this trials to our family without any purpose… only God can removed and cure our pain and sufferings we only need to trust in him throughout the journey of our daughter Aliyah.. we will Praise God even to all our pain and trials, Praise to the KING of KINGS and to the LORD of Lord..
