What is something unique and special about your child with trisomy that you wish more people knew?
Brandon has a heart for God and others. He looks at life through a “half-full” lens and blesses me on a daily basis. Currently, he works at Costco handing out food samples, and in the summer, as a historical interpreter. He attends and speaks at Pro-Life events and conferences. His heart desire is to change the dialogue around Trisomy 18 & 13.
Why do you believe raising awareness about trisomy conditions is important, and how can others make a difference?
Raising awareness is extremely important because society is generally presented with a very negative image of these conditions. Allowing parents and the medical community to see another perspective can have a huge impact for these precious children.
During Trisomy Awareness Month, what message would you like to share with the world about your family’s journey and the trisomy community?
The journey into the unknown can feel daunting, but the rewards are immeasureable.
