What is something unique and special about your child with trisomy that you wish more people knew?

Haddie is both sweet and sassy and full of sugar and spice! Her smile melts my heart every time and she has us all wrapped around her tiny little finger.

Why do you believe raising awareness about trisomy conditions is important, and how can others make a difference?

Her diagnosis was a surprise to us after birth. We heard all of the doom and gloom and we believed them until I found these groups and all of those who share their stories and beautiful children. It gave us hope when we needed it the most.

During Trisomy Awareness Month, what message would you like to share with the world about your family’s journey and the trisomy community?

The journey is not always easy.. it’s full of both joy and grief but it is worth every moment. She’s the light that shines in the darkness.
